| Cocoa Island is the Indian Ocean outpost from COMO Hotels and Resorts, the company behind Parrot Cay in the Turks and Caicos. To hole up here is to discover escapism, or sweet serenity under a reliable sun. It is a special place, at one remove from the noise of modern living, where we nurture every need, attend to every detail, and soothe away the stresses which belong to another life.

Resort Facilities
At Cocoa Island, indulge in nature's bequest, from dust-white sand between idle toes, to a warm blue sea that turns blush-pink with the falling light. Some guests find their own stretch of beach; others prefer to relax in privacy on their suite's hidden terrace, or lounge beside the resort's main swimming pool' cobalt, melting into an empty horizon.
There is a watersports centre (see Island Activities), a fully equipped Dive Centre, gym with yoga facilities, and a COMO Shambhala retreat offering a full range of treatments including massages, Ayurveda and facials.
Our library features an extensive book collection; games are also available, which can be delivered to your suite.
A hotel boutique sells a carefully edited selection of gifts as well as holiday necessities like hats and sun lotion.
We also have a 24-hour concierge.
Dining
At Cocoa Island, eat like a castaway - fresh lobster, caught locally, cooked in the Keralan style. Dine feet-in-the-sand at the main restaurant, Ufaa, beneath an alang-alang pavilion and huge Maldivian sky. Menus change daily, blending Indian and Sri Lankan traditions with an emphasis on seafood, tandoor and organic, locally-sourced produce. Spicing is used with a lightness of touch. Choice is always tantalising, promising simplicity in the tropics, and sophistication for the more demanding gourmand. There is also a hotel bar, Faru, open from 10am until midnight, serving fine wines, exotic cocktails and energising juices. At Cocoa Island, we provide comprehensive room service menus, as well as a healthful COMO Shambhala cuisine.
Como Shambhala Retreat
Cocoa Island attends to guests' needs at a deeper level, courtesy of the COMO Shambhala Retreat. We offer healing traditions from Asia with natural therapies from the sea and earth, honed by international health consultants. It is a place where wellness is nurtured in simple wooden beach houses, aired by breezes carrying the scent of the ocean.
Island Activities
Although most of our guests come to Cocoa Island to relax in privacy, there are others who spend their time exploring the local region ? both above and underwater.
Diving

Watersports
You can also go deep-sea fishing, or partake in watersports off the beach, like windsurfing or catamaran sailing.
Island Hopping
Particularly popular are the beach drop-offs, dolphin and sunset cruises, allowing guests to indulge in the natural solitude of empty beaches and mirror-flat horizons.

Rooms are inspired by dhoni boats, as used by local fishermen, adjoined by simple wooden walkways built above the shallow ocean. Each is its own discreet fiefdom. From your room, walk out on to a private terrace; from your terrace, slip into a warm Maldivian sea. The view from the wide platform bed is directly out to the watery expanse. And the bathrooms, all with double sinks, a bath and shower, share the horizon views.

These eight rooms (five doubles, three twins) have a split-level bedroom/seating area, a private sun deck and large bathroom

Two-Bedroom Villa
Our two headline villas each have two bedrooms (one double, one twin) with ensuite bathrooms, outdoor showers, living/dining rooms, a kitchen, guest WC and four sun decks. The 'Sunset' villa has a private jetty.

All rates shown are in US $.
Rates Includes
All rates shown are per room/suite and include all taxes and breakfast.
Mandatory Handling Fee
A mandatory handling fee of USD 10.00 per person and to be added on top of the quoted price.
Transfers
• Transfers are mandatory
• Return speedboat transfers come at a rate of USD 190.00 per person and USD 100.00 per child ages 4-12 years.
• Children below 3 years are free of charge.
Adult Meal Supplement
• Halfboard (3 courses lunch or3 courses dinner) will come at the rate of USD 99.00 per person per day.
• Full Board (3 courses lunch and 3 courses dinner) will come at the rate of USD 143.00 per person per day.
Length of Stay
Minimum of 7 nights stay is required during Easter period, Christmas and New Year periods.
Children Meal Supplement
• Halfboard will come at the rate of USD 60.50 per child per day.
• Full Board will come at the rate of USD 77.00 per child per day.
Payment Requirements
For your convenience, Internet Travel Group offers secure online payments with the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please note that, should you prefer, you are able to supply your credit card information by fax. We are unable to accept your reservation request without credit card details, though you will only be billed once your booking has been confirmed, the credit card information verified and our confirmation voucher sent to you by email.
For all reservations
The full amount will be charged at the moment of confirmation.
Cancellation Policy
• If cancellation is received 34 days or more prior to arrival, then 20% of the full amount will be lost.
If cancellation is received 33 days and 18 days prior to arrival date: an additional 50% of the total booking will be charged.
• If cancellation is received 17 days or less prior to arrival, then the full amount will apply as a penalty fee.
• No shows or early departure will result on the full amount being charged as a cancellation fee.
• No refunds for early departures.
Children Policy
• Children over the aged of 12 are charged as adult.
• Children requiring their own room are considered as adult.
Between 1st January 2008 and 31st October 2008
• USD 68.00 per day per child aged between 4 and 12 in all rooms.
• USD 68.00 per day per child under the age of 4 in all rooms.
Liability
Internet Travel Group acts as intermediary between all hotels, transport operators, tourist attraction companies, and local tourist offices providing the services. Internet Hotel Rental Group is therefore not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by the tourists; including those occurring outside of the touring programmes. Additional expenses incurred due to delay, accident, acts of God or political actions / unrest must be borne by the tourists. Programmes and prices, services and conditions are based on those valid at the time of being posted on the site. They are therefore subject to change without advance notice before or during the tour / stay / excursion / car rental. A submitted reservation request is indicative of the tourist agreement to the above conditions.

Price & Payment
Unless otherwise stated, at the time of booking only a deposit is due. The remanining balance is payable on check-in and charged by the hotel direct. hotel-savings.com accepts Visa, Mastercard & American Express.
For security purposes, should your reservation incur a charge in excess of USD 400.00, you must submit a signed credit card authorization form. This will be supplied upon confirmation of the reservation. If you fail to fax across this documentation within 48 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Please note that as per our cancellation policy, there may be a fee for this.
Flight Information
If you are to arrive at your hotel after 5pm, please provide Hotelrentalgroup with your flight information, so that we may be able to advise the hotel of what time they can expect you. Should your flight be delayed, we strongly recommend that you contact the hotel directly to inform them of this.
Period of Stay / Rate Calculation
All stays are calculated and sold "per night". We can only guarantee a room until noon (12pm). Late check-outs can be requested at the moment of reservation in the additional comments box, but may come at an additional fee (usually 50% of the nightly rate).
Cancellation Policies & Charges
Cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail, with as much notice as possible. Penalty fees may apply. Please check the terms & conditions, as these policies vary from hotel to hotel.
Cancellation Charges On All Reservations
-On all confirmed reservations, 20% of the total amount will be lost.
-Further cancellation charges may apply depending on the hotel.

No Shows
No Shows will result in a 100% penalty fee.
Reservation & Confirmation
All reservations made on the web sites operated by hotel-savings.com will receive a temporary confirmation number. This temporary number does not mean that the hotel room is available and is only for administrative purposes. Your final confirmation will be sent to you on your official confirmation voucher within 24 hours, unless, due to unforeseen circumstances, the hotel does not get back to us within this time frame. hotel-savings.com is not responsible for any such delays.
Early departures
In addition to the standard cancellation policy, we would like to stress the point that the hotels are very strict regarding changes to the length of clients’ stays. Therefore we would like to inform you that clients departing before their booked check out date will be charged for the remaining nights and, no being made for unused nights.
Check In & Check Out Policy
Your room will be made available to you from 14h00 (unless stated otherwise in the terms & conditions of the hotel). Should you require a guaranteed early check in, the room must be booked and paid for in full for the day preceeding your stay.
Check out time is 12:00 hrs. For a guaranteed late check-out, clients should book for an additional night, charged at 100%.
Special offers and Value Added Extras
All special offers, packages and discounts over our standard rates are offered subject to availability. hotel-savings.com cannot accept any responsibility in the unlikely event that these are temporarily unavailable.
Credit Card
In order to secure a room, it is mandatory to have a credit card.
General Conditions and liability
All reservations made by clients are subject to our terms and conditions. No other terms, conditions and warranties, expressed or implied by law, custom and course of dealing shall form part of any contract between hotel-savings.com and our clients except for those terms imposed by law where application is mandatory.
The client acknowledges that in making a reservation with hotel-savings.com they do so only on the basis of the material contained in the hotel-savings.com Web Site or relevant advertising medium. All other statements or representations made by hotel-savings.com, its employees, agents or sub-contractors are of no effect unless confirmed in writing by hotel-savings.com to the client.
hotel-savings.com sources hotels from various hotel companies in the countries in which it operates. The condition of the stay will be subject to the law of the country in which it is supplied to you. You will be subject to its terms and conditions and local law.
hotel-savings.com reserves the right to pass on to the client any government increase in local VAT or other taxes that may be introduced after a reservation is made. Any additional charges payable on arrival are subject to local VAT at the prevailing rate in that country.
The liability of hotel-savings.com to the client for any loss, problem, damage or cancellation, whether arising out of negligence, breach of contract, error or any other cause shall not exceed the invoiced total value of the confirmation voucher supplied by hotel-savings.com.
