| A major reconstruction project successfully completed in 2005 has brought a trendy new look to Bandos Island Resort. Front desk, lobby areas, shops, all the restaurants, bars, and a new swimming pool have been rebuilt with the state of the art architectural designs blending perfectly with the tropical surrounding and maintaining the ?local feel?. Rooms on the northern side of the island have been replaced by elegantly designed individual loft type Beach Villas with the most modern facilities and amenities. Bandos has perfected its role of the ?welcoming host? and can cater to every mood. The natural splendor is complemented by the modern amenities of the resort, which ensure that your stay is both comfortable and memorable.

| Harbour Grill Dine with style in the newly built and elegantly designed fine dining restaurant - Harbour Grill. Here you will have options of dining either in air-conditioned comfort or while enjoying the cool breeze and the breathtaking scenery on the open air over water deck. Harbour Grill specialises in presenting you with the best of Maldivian fish, a large variety of seafood, home-made pasta and a selection of tender steaks char grilled to your taste. Gallery Restaurant The main restaurant of Bandos Island Resort is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and specialises in catering for guests whose holiday package includes meals - yet is open to all the guests. Package holidaymakers, however, are not restricted to one restaurant, but are welcome to eat either at the Coffee shop or the Harbour Grill with a discount. See Breeze Coffee Shop True to its name, Sea Breeze Caf頨as been newly built right at the edge of the water with an open air over water deck and an amazing view of the sea. It is open 24 hours and offers from snacks to A La Carte Menu, ranging from Spaghetti Bolognaise, a variety of pizza to authentic Indian Curry. Sand Bar Right at the water?s edge is our Sand Bar, reconstructed with modern equipments and the state of designs blending well with its name and surround. It is the main bar and is open from 0730hrs until the last satisfied customer leaves. Enjoy the exotic atmosphere barefoot on the sand floor sipping a tropical drink from our wide selection. Sundowner Beach Bar Located on the east side of the island, close to our Dive School, is the Sundowners Bar, open daily between 0730hrs to 1930hrs. Water Sports What can be more attractive in the Maldives than the beautiful blue sea, which makes up 99 per cent of the country?s territory? The water displays incredible shades of blue and green and is crystal-clear. The beautiful coral reef, the numerous and colourful fish are an amazing world of their own. The Water Sports Centre in Bandos makes sure you can enjoy the water any way you want, at any time of the day. It provides you with the equipment or facilities for any watersport - Windsurfing, Catamaran Sailing, Water Skiing, Para-sailing, Banana boat riding, Wake board, Knee board, Fun tubes, Canoeing and a lot more?the possibilities are unlimited. The Water Sports Centre also offers a Catamaran and Windsurfing school of high standard. The school includes equipment such as Hifly, North-Sails and Topcats. The staff are multi-lingual and can speak English, German and Japanese. Join one of our exciting Catamaran Sailing safaris. No sailing experience is needed to join the sailing adventures offered at Bandos. Big Game Fishing Big Game Fishing in the Maldivian waters can be an adventure of a lifetime for keen fishermen and first-timers alike. The 1199 islands of the Maldives form a ridge, which shelves steeply to the depths of the Indian Ocean. The coral atolls boast one of the greatest concentrations and diversities of sea life found on earth - big billfish are caught within metres of the tourist resorts. The fishing methods in the Maldives are interesting to watch, and baitless fishing is the most fascinating among them. Bandos arranges some of the best big game fishing excursions in the country. The Prowler, which leads you on the hunt for the ?game?, is equipped with all the necessary equipment, radios, GPS system and heads. Fish caught during game fishing varies according to the weather. The Maldives, a country that straddles the equator, remains sunny almost all year around. There are two main seasons, however, - the South West Monsoon and the North East Monsoon. The South West Monsoon, which usually starts in May and continues until August, is the rainy season. Bad weather in the Maldives is not common but the varying temperatures can effect the underwater currents and consequently the movements of fish. Entertainement The heart of the nightlife is at the Sand Bar, where two of the best Maldivian bands play twice a week, a Saxaphone, Ivory and Brass band once a week and our popular inhouse DJ invites you to the dance floor to dance away the blues. Kuda Bandos The unhabited island for uninhibited enjoyment A small coral island, just a stone?s throw away from Bandos Island Resort, is where you go when the need arises for total privacy. The miniature island, called Kuda Bandos (meaning Small Bandos) is one of the few remaining desert islands in the North Mal钠Atoll and the perfect setting for a private picnic on the beach or a glorious sundowner at the end of a full day. Try snorkelling the reef, swimming in the clear blue lagoon and simply enjoying nature at its best. Except for Fridays, Saturdays and other public holidays, Kuda Bandos is open for you with a small extra charge. Diving One of the great attractions of the Maldives is the apparently endless number of top-quality diving and snorkelling sites. Indeed, the true beauty of the Maldives lies below the surface of its enchanting crystal clear waters just few steps away from your bungalow. Our friendly and professional staff will give you advice on where to go and what to see, as well as on all safety aspects. Dive Center Dive Bandos, a member of the PADI International Resort Association, is a well equipped dive centre. Our newly built centre is the most modern facility in the Maldives. It features a spacious reception with a library, 2 air-conditioned classrooms with AV equipment, restrooms and hot water showers, 2 spacious equipment storage rooms and the Sundowner Bar, where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset after a good day?s diving. 3 modern Bauer Compressors with a total capacity of 1200 l/min supply 200 aluminium tanks filled with DIN/INT valves. Our top brand equipment comprises 150 sets of snorkel equipment (Mares and Technisub), 75 Spiro and Scubapro regulators (all fitted with Octopus, depth and pressure gauge), 75 Seaquest jacket, 90 wetsuits and Aladin dive computers, Hartenberger dive lights, Sea & Sea MX 10 UW cameras in sufficient numbers. A well-equipped workshop for basic maintenance and service is at your disposal. Dive Bandos has a fleet of up to 4 modern, spacious fibre glass dhonis, all equipped with life vests, First Aid equipment, DAN Oxygen kits and radio to enable communication with the dive centre and the island. Additionally all boats are equipped with comfortable ladders for easy entry into the boat as well as various float lines to assist you in currents. The experienced and well-trained boat crew is always ready to help you in any way they can. All our staff is regularly trained in Medic First Aid and CPR. In all emergencies our Medical Clinic with Decompression Chamber is at your disposal. While diving with us, all divers are covered with a complementary DAN Maldives insurance against dive accidents requiring chamber treatment. For the certified diver we offer a wide range of options, such as guided House Reef dives, half-day boat excursions, full-day excursions and night dives at the House Reef. For the experienced diver we also offer unlimited diving on our easily accessible House Reef 24 hours a day.

Bandos Island Resort has a total of 225 guestrooms discreetly tucked away in the lush tropical vegetation, spacious and airy. Standard Rooms A total 103 Standard Rooms, conveniently located on the southern side of the island are all beach-fronted and in blocks of four rooms adjacent to each other. Junior Suites 48 Junior Suites are all beach-fronted and in blocks of two rooms each with inter-connecting doors and are more spacious with sitting/living area. Junior Suites are also ideal for families with small children as well as for the wheelchair-bound guests. Garden Villa All 12 Garden Villas are located in the middle of the island, facing the landscaped gardens and the newly built swimming pool. These are full wooden chalets with private patio and are elegantly furnished. Beach Villas The 48 Beach Villas have been newly built in 2005 on the northern side of the island, with most modern facilities and amenities, yet blending in well with the tropical surroundings. Designed in loft type individual units with living room, bathroom, and Jacuzzi on the ground floor and the bed room is located on upstairs with a private balcony overlooking the azure lagoon. Facilities include: king size bed, mini bar, International Direct Dial telephone, air-condition, beach bed with beach chair, bathroom with separate shower, hot & cold water, hair dryer, satellite television, tea/coffee making facilities and electronic safety deposit box. Water Villas The 2 exclusive Water Villas built in 2005, on stilts over the azure lagoon, are the first of its kind to be built on Bandos. These two luxurious and spacious Villas are designed with utmost care in ensuring comfort and privacy for its residents. A spacious living room gives you the breathtaking ocean view, leading to the large private sundeck with sun loungers. How to get to the hotel? |

Bandos is a beautiful coral island with a total land area of 178,900 square metres, covered with lush tropical vegetation, numerous palm trees, surrounded by a wide sandy beach and the crystal clear waters of an azure lagoon. The island owns one of the best house reefs, just 40 - 60 metres away from the beach.
Opened on 10 December 1972 as the second tourist resort in the Maldives.

Price & Payment
Unless otherwise stated, at the time of booking only a deposit is due. The remanining balance is payable on check-in and charged by the hotel direct. hotel-savings.com accepts Visa, Mastercard & American Express.
For security purposes, should your reservation incur a charge in excess of USD 400.00, you must submit a signed credit card authorization form. This will be supplied upon confirmation of the reservation. If you fail to fax across this documentation within 48 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Please note that as per our cancellation policy, there may be a fee for this.
Flight Information
If you are to arrive at your hotel after 5pm, please provide Hotelrentalgroup with your flight information, so that we may be able to advise the hotel of what time they can expect you. Should your flight be delayed, we strongly recommend that you contact the hotel directly to inform them of this.
Period of Stay / Rate Calculation
All stays are calculated and sold "per night". We can only guarantee a room until noon (12pm). Late check-outs can be requested at the moment of reservation in the additional comments box, but may come at an additional fee (usually 50% of the nightly rate).
Cancellation Policies & Charges
Cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail, with as much notice as possible. Penalty fees may apply. Please check the terms & conditions, as these policies vary from hotel to hotel.

No Shows
No Shows will result in a 100% penalty fee.
Reservation & Confirmation
All reservations made on the web sites operated by hotel-savings.com will receive a temporary confirmation number. This temporary number does not mean that the hotel room is available and is only for administrative purposes. Your final confirmation will be sent to you on your official confirmation voucher within 24 hours, unless, due to unforeseen circumstances, the hotel does not get back to us within this time frame. hotel-savings.com is not responsible for any such delays.
Early departures
In addition to the standard cancellation policy, we would like to stress the point that the hotels are very strict regarding changes to the length of clients’ stays. Therefore we would like to inform you that clients departing before their booked check out date will be charged for the remaining nights and, no being made for unused nights.
Check In & Check Out Policy
Your room will be made available to you from 14h00 (unless stated otherwise in the terms & conditions of the hotel). Should you require a guaranteed early check in, the room must be booked and paid for in full for the day preceeding your stay.
Check out time is 12:00 hrs. For a guaranteed late check-out, clients should book for an additional night, charged at 100%.

hotel-savings.com sources hotels from various hotel companies in the countries in which it operates. The condition of the stay will be subject to the law of the country in which it is supplied to you. You will be subject to its terms and conditions and local law.
hotel-savings.com reserves the right to pass on to the client any government increase in local VAT or other taxes that may be introduced after a reservation is made. Any additional charges payable on arrival are subject to local VAT at the prevailing rate in that country.
The liability of hotel-savings.com to the client for any loss, problem, damage or cancellation, whether arising out of negligence, breach of contract, error or any other cause shall not exceed the invoiced total value of the confirmation voucher supplied by hotel-savings.com.
